Call it Boho, but Fusion would be the appropriate term for this look. As they say Art has no rules – same goes for Fashion too and if we talk about Fusion Wear, Fusion is the future of Fashion. You can see International designers like Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier or Versache incorporating this trend in their designs and Runway Models adorning it on their shows with style that is unmatched.

In simple words Fusion Wear can be represented as an Eastern influence on Western Fashion or Culture. It is an amalgamation of Eastern fabrics and Western cuts or Eastern Craftsmanship and Western Fabrics or it could also be  Eastern jewellery worn beautifully along with Western Outfits.

This black embroidered dress from Missguided is a beautiful example of Fusion Wear. I wore it with my Silver Jhumkas that I bought from Jaipur this year. You will find such embroidered patterns almost everywhere in North India especially in Punjab. I have grown up seeing these being carved beautifully by local artisans on Punjabi suits, Juttis, Dupattas and even on home furnishings like pillows or table cloths in every nook and corner of the city. Almost every Punjaban must have worn a similar pattern dress once in her lifetime and coming from this region, I too have one such memory attached to it.

I still remember my Mom and my Aunt got such similar patterned Black suits stitched for both me and my cousin, when we were hardly around four or five years old (and not to mention the similar Punjabi Juttis for both of us too ) I guess that was the idea of showing love for each other in older days and i am sold for anything that is love:)
